We are looking for an Analyst Investment Services Professional for our Investment Service department, that is situated within the Securities Services business line of BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam Branch.

The position you’re applying for/Your new role

The Analyst Investment Services Professional is situated within CIB2S Netherlands in Amsterdam. Direct colleagues are from the departments Accounting & Financial Reporting and Investment Reporting & Performance.

For the expansion of our young and ambitious Investment Services team we are looking for an Analyst Investment Services to strengthen us. You will support the administration and handling of Transactions, Net Asset Value calculations, corporate actions, collateral management, portfolio compliance and other core processes within the department. Given the global nature of the business, there is a close corporation across locations as part of a unified global team servicing clients in each location. Experience with Simcorp Dimension and Active Batch is a strong advantage.

You will be working in the center of Amsterdam and directly working together with more than 90 financial professionals of all different levels of seniority in BNP Paribas CIB Netherlands Securities Services. 

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely completeness and exactness of the client positions/transactions in SimCorp Dimension.
• Preparing standard reports for other departments/clients.
• Maintain internal/external working relations for data delivery and operational questions.
• Identify differences and solving them with the right prioritization.
• Work on continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
• Contribute to deliver operational excellence to clients.
• Contribute to gain recognition from clients for high quality service delivery.
• Assist in furthering the development of the business by analyzing and helping to evaluate impact of market changes
• Performing analyses and handling administration

Who are you

·     Master or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Audit, Technics

·     Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written) and a good sense of humor

·     Has 1-3 years of relevant analytical working experience

·     Is experienced in producing intelligence through data analysis

·     Able to signal bottlenecks in own activities and report more complex matters to Team Leader/Head of Department

·     Knowledge of equity and fixed income products as well as derivatives
