The position you’re applying for/Your new role

The SimCorp Business Solution Consultant reports directly to the Head of Business Solutions and is the driving force of new developments within the Investment Services domain. The Investment Services domain consists of topics such as fund administration/accounting, data interfaces (e.g. SWIFT, data extractions), transaction and order management, collateral management, reconciliations, settlements, corporate actions, onboardings.

The Consultant knows the whole investment process from begin to end and develops the best possible sustainable solution, implements on a controlled manner and secures the change within the departments. Main goal is to further optimize and professionalize Securities Services Netherlands and be part of realizing Securities Services overall strategy. It is an all-round job position where you will touch common grounds like business consultancy, process and application specialist and project management.

He/she works closely with Securities Services employees (Client Line, Client Delivery, and Client Development) to define operating models in line with clients’ needs and in line with the Securities Services framework and operating model.

 

Your responsibilities

·         Develop and implement business solutions for (new) clients and/or internal on product, process and regulation;

·         Implementation of the change. Doing it self, by participation, or by coordination;

·         Simcorp Dimension development and maintenance;

·         Training of colleagues (change and first line support run teams) and knowledge sharing of experience and newly build expertise;

·         Creation of specifications with stakeholders, assessing the impact and advising the organization/stakeholders;

The Depositary Officer is situated within CIB2S Netherlands in Amsterdam and reports directly to the Head of Depositary CIB2S Netherlands. 

You are the driving force for new developments and preparing stable delivery of change to production and will overlook the change process from beginning to end. Main goal is to continuously optimize and professionalize CIB2S Depositary & Fiduciary Services Netherlands and to contribute to the CIB2S Depositary & Fiduciary Services and overall strategy. 

Your responsibilities

Within Securities Services, the main role of the Depository & Fiduciary Services teams (DFS),

wherever they operate, is twofold:

  • Discharge the Bank’s oversight responsibilities on the fund managers (and their trading activity) and any other stakeholders (eg fund administrators, agency lenders, clearers, collateral agents,…) relevant to the funds we are appointed trustee or depositary for;
  • Oversee the operations of any other departments of the Bank involved in its discharging its trustee or depositary responsibility, eg custody and specialist safekeeping teams.

In addition to performing post trade investment compliance monitoring in a fiduciary capacity, we offer this service in a commercial capacity in a number of markets, eg Luxembourg, France, Germany, Ireland,   Singapore, the Netherlands and increasingly in the UK. This service is offered primarily to asset owners, bundled with other ‘master custody’ types of solutions.

The Depositary Officers interface objectively between the clients and the regulatory authorities and are responsible for a wide spectrum of control services including cash monitoring, ownership verifications, NAV controls, risk and compliance controls. The main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Analysing fund structures and investment strategies (securities, derivatives & alternatives) to execute oversight.   
  • Perform controls and act as point of contact for the client with regard to cash flow monitoring, oversight (e.g. compliance monitoring) and ownership verification.
  • Audit depositary related operations (custody, cash management, reconciliations, fund administration, transfer agency).
  • Review and control operational Depositary services performed by international centers of excellence.
  • Monitor, evaluate and adapt internal procedures to remain compliant with the Fund rules and regulations (Wft, AIFMD, UCITS).
  • Analyze AO/IC and ISAE 3402 procedures, evaluate dependencies and where needed suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to the global operational risk management program of BNP Paribas Securities Services whilst acting as depositary and custodian.
  • Report on the depositary services to the client and set-up depositary meetings in which the services will be evaluated.

Who are you

  • Be the first point of contact for Dutch clients and auditor of clients regarding financial reporting queries
  • Be on top of changes in legislation and market practices with regard to financial reporting         
  • Participate in the migration and onboarding projects and analyze developments in the field of financial reporting
  • To maintain and develop systems and processes, ensuring the appropriate balance between control and efficiency
  • Contribute to the management of operational risks and internal control
  • Ensuring high quality of service to clients 
  • Participate in improvement projects, for example process optimizations and the description of administrative processes and procedures

Who are you

Op welke functie solliciteer je? 

Als Project Manager ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor het adviseren van meerdere (internationale) opdrachtgevers bij het optimaliseren en uitvoeren van hun huisvestingstrategieën. Je werkt nauw samen met opdrachtgevers om hun behoeften en doelstellingen te begrijpen. Daarnaast begeleid je ze bij de realisatie van een passende oplossing.  Jouw werkzaamheden 

  • Projectmanagement van diverse huisvestingsprojecten van ontwerp tot oplevering.
  • Uitvoeren van technische scans (inclusief de aanwezige installaties) en opstellen van een (technisch) programma van eisen.
  • Analyse van servicecontracten (onderhoudscontracten, nutscontracten etc.)
  • Beoordelen van bouwkundige bestekken en begeleiden van aanbestedingen namens onze opdrachtgevers
  • Verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van verschillende CapEx projecten vanuit onze property management portefeuille.
  • Advisering op het gebied van ESG: analyse, identificatie kansen en risico’s, strategische aanbevelingen.

VIE Corporate Coverage Associate – Amsterdam, H/F

Concrètement votre quotidien ?

En tant que VIE au sein du département Corporate Coverage de BNP Paribas CIB aux Pays-Bas, vous jouerez un rôle central au sein de l’équipe avec 3 dimensions principales : un rôle commercial fort, une expertise crédit et KYC.

Sur le plan commercial, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les banquiers pour contribuer au développement de leurs clients en travaillant sur des pitch, en surveillant l’évolution du marché et du secteur, et en assistant sur des projets commerciaux. Vous aurez également la possibilité d’interagir avec les spécialistes des produits des différentes divisions de la banque.

Sur le Crédit, vous préparerez les revues annuelles et les propositions de crédit pour de nouvelles demandes ou vous fournirez une analyse financière. Vous effectuerez également des évaluations ESG de nos clients.

Sur le KYC, vous soutiendrez les banquiers dans leurs tâches quotidiennes pour leur portefeuille de clients.

The position you’re applyingfor/Your new role

A Multi National CoverageRelationship Manager(MNC RM) is the key-representative of BNP Paribas towardsthe customer group defined as Multinational Coverage Relationships. Member of the Coverage Team, you will be mainly in charge ofa portfolio of Contributor clients, i.e. local subsidiaries whose parentcompany is already a client of BNP Paribas (Pilot Company) in its home market. 
You’ll work in close coordination with the Pilot RMs abroadand implements the strategy jointly defined. You will grow your client base by on-boarding new Contributorrelationships, proactively contacting members of the BNP Paribas Coverage Teamabroad to forge introductions. You will report to one of the local Corporate Coverage Head of ClientGroup. You are in close contact with the Pilot RMs in the different countriesabroad, in order to understand the Group structure of your clients such as toleverage the local market opportunities. You will train and work closely with the Associate(s) of theClient Group. 

Your responsibilities

  • Act as primary Contributor client entry point for anyclient need and maintain client relationship at adequate level (mainly C.E.O.or C.F.O.)
  • After having understood the global organization of theclient’s Group, define the possibilities of developing the local business withthe Contributor.
  • In coordination with the Pilot RM abroad and the localBusiness Lines, originate Corporate Coverage products (especially CashManagement, Trade and FX/IRG flows) according to the clients’ needs and thusincrease revenues and cross sell for his/her clients.
  • Prepare and share Client Action Plan on most importantclients or at request of Pilot RMs
  • Ensure the updating and accuracy of the CRM tool (callreports, status of opportunities and deal pipeline management among others)
  • Monitor risk and contribute to the credit applicationin cooperation with Credit Analysts.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Pilot RM to beupdated on the evolution of the mother company.
  • Ensure Compliance with Bank’s policies/procedures(especially KYC and AML/Sanctions) and regulatory requirements, in particularwith regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties, as per relevant policiesand procedures and the summary of responsibilities list attached hereto.
  • Ensure that the business carried out with his/herclients is appropriate, understandable and suitable.
  • Act in a product-neutral manner in the best interestof the clients and of the BNP Paribas Group globally.
  • Participate, when required or needed, to workshopsaiming at developing the global efficiency of the BNP Paribas Group.
